Still Alive; On Summer Hiatus

I haven't taken a break from writing a weekly piece for this blog since I started it in early to mid 2024.

Even after 75+ articles, I'm still not burnt out. However, I have noticed lately that I've been rushing things a bit - collapsing the whole brainstorming and writing process into a smaller window.

This is partly down to changes in my life as well as methadone withdrawal and my decision to create some video content over on YouTube (@concreteconfessional).

I also have some other writing that I need to finish and revise, including a couple of pieces for submission to journals, contests, etc., and I've been putting that off for too long.

At any rate, I think it's time to take a break and just enjoy summer for a few weeks.

I'll be back within a month, fired up and ready to write again!
